Marshalls Celebrates Torrance Relocation With Grand Opening

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Off-price retailer Marshalls will be relocating their Torrance location on Carson Street to the Del Amo Fashion Center. To celebrate the move, the store plans to host a grand opening, make 60 job openings available for part-time and full-time positions, and donate $10,000 to a local community non-profit, according to the press release.

The grand opening celebration, that will include giveaways, is on May 3 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Marshalls sells brand name and designer merchandise in ladies, men, juniors, kids, shoes, accessories, home, pet, beauty and more, according to the press release. The Torrance location will include "The Cube," an in-store boutique of contemporary fashions.

“Our newest store in Torrance will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for," Tim Miner, President of Marshalls, said in a statement. "Our buyers create a broad and exciting mix that offers exceptional values for the entire family, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood.”

The new store plans to add approximately 60 full-time and part-time jobs to the area. They will also present a $10,000 donation to 1736 Family Crisis Center at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 3 at 7:30 a.m.

The new location is 21880 Hawthorne Blvd S355 Torrance, Calif. relocating from 3525 West Carson Street Torrance, Calif. The store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
