New Exhibit at GUS Gallery

This past Saturday, I attended the Opening Reception for an exhibit by photographer/Instagrammer Virginia McNeely at GUS Vintage Goods in Riviera Village.

GUS carries vintage clothes, art, jewelry and other merchandise in the front portion the shop, while a small room in the back serves as a gallery. Owner Kim Stoneman regularly features the work of local artists and student artists and the gallery is open during regular store hours.

Virginia’s photographs were taken using her iphone or ipad – some are traditionally printed and framed, others are printed on canvas – but it’s her processing method that makes them extraordinary. To view her work, visit her Instagram page athttps://www.instagram.com/ginnigabu/.
