• California Man Charged With Hate Crimes After Alleged Threat to Shoot Jewish Center (vinnews.com) — A Lomita man is facing felony hate crime and criminal threat charges after allegedly calling in antisemitic threats to shoot a Jewish community center in Redondo Beach while children were present. Prosecutors say he previously failed a court-ordered anti-bias diversion program and continued making threatening calls, with Redondo Beach police investigating and bail set at $275,000.
