Redondo Beach Grill Launches Soft Opening, Full Reopening In The Works: Report

REDONDO BEACH, CA — The restaurant formerly known as Ragin Cajun Grill has begun a soft relaunch and is debuting a new name and menu, according to The Daily Breeze.

The eatery, located at 525 S. Pacific Coast Highway, was open for 32 years but closed March 1. It reopened March 21 with a different menu under the name Redondo Beach Grill.

The owners have said that they chose to change the restaurant's theme due in part to rising seafood costs.

The soft opening is expected to continue for two weeks, the Breeze reported March 23. During the two-week trial run, customer feedback will determine any adjustments to the new offerings.

No reservations are required, and the limited seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

During the two-week trial run, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.

An official grand opening is set for the weekend of April 18-19.
