Redondo Beach Needs Volunteers For Annual Homeless Count
The annual count gives Redondo Beach crucial information about how its strategies for combatting homelessness are working, the city said.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — The City of Redondo Beach needs volunteers for the 2020 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22.
The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority conducts the homeless count every January across Los Angeles County. The Redondo Beach deployment site will be at Anderson Senior Center at 1922 Artesia Blvd.
The count gives the county crucial information that is used to "inform funding, resources and activities to address homelessness across the County," it said in a press release.
