SoCalGas Pipeline Construction to Affect Traffic in Redondo Beach, Southland

SoCalGas will be updating and testing its pipeline system throughout central and Southern California under a 2014 directive from the state.

TORRANCE, CA — Construction work on Southern California Gas Company's natural gas pipeline is expected to affect traffic in Torrance, Gardena and north Redondo Beach for about 12 to 15 weeks, the utility announced today.

The work will begin Monday morning along 190th Street beginning at Crenshaw Boulevard, move eastward along 190th Street, and end at South Vermont Avenue.

Traffic on 190th Street will be slower than usual and will sometimes include lane reductions.
