South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide January 9, 2020
Everything you want to know about what is happening in the South Bay this Weekend and beyond is in this guide

You know I’m all about keeping it local. When you patronize our small, local businesses, a good chunk of the tax dollars generated stay within the community and that’s a win-win for us all. We’re able to keep the website up and running and send out this Weekend Guide every Thursday due to the support of our fabulous advertisers – and every one of our advertisers is local. Instead of scrolling past the ads, click on the image, discover what they have to offer, and be sure to show them some South Bay love!

Each year, over 8,000 volunteers gather throughout Los Angeles County to take part in the Greater Los Angeles County Homeless Count. Over the course of three days and nights, volunteers fan out across the County to determine how many homeless individuals and families there are in the region, identify their demographic characteristics, and the locations where they reside. This data is a critical tool to help secure and direct resources where they are most needed. If you would like to volunteer to participate in the Homeless Count taking place January 21, 22, and 23, visit the website at http://www.theycountwillyou.org for more information and to register.
