South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide March 1, 2018

The South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide offers comprehensive coverage of the greater South Bay area.

Some of you will have noticed a new campaign advertisement for a Torrance City Council candidate on my website. I’ve never run a political ad on my site, so it’s new for me. It is a paid advertisement, not an endorsement – as a rule, I don’t endorse candidates publicly. Anyway, there are currently about 50,000 Torrance residents using my website and I’m looking forward to seeing how many clicks the ad generates. So I have a question - when you open the mailbox and find it stuffed with political mailers, what do you do with them? Do you glance at them, put them aside to read later, google the candidate, toss them in the recycling bin? All replies will remain strictly confidential, of course!
