You’ve seen it in Live Oak Park, nestled between the Joslyn Center and ball field. The original Manhattan Beach Scout House was built by volunteers in 1952. It’s seen Eagle ceremonies, Troop meetings, Pinewood Derbies and so much more. But it’s on its last legs. A new Scout House is needed for future generations of Scouts — and to provide additional space for Manhattan Beach Seniors and the community at large. The goal is to raise $3.5 million to construct a new 7,000 square foot state-of-the-art structure that will be….-A beautiful backdrop for civic events.-A gathering place for the next generation and our greatest generation.-A place that will make the community proud for years to come.To donate, visit the website at https://www.thescouthouse.org/donate/.
