South Bay Weekend Guide September 1, 2016
The South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide offers comprehensive coverage of the greater South Bay area.

Welcome to the Weekend Guide Lite edition! Labor Day Weekend marks the unofficial end of summer - most kids are back in the classroom, we’re already reminiscing about our vacations, and families are slowly easing into the school year routine. Historically, there aren’t many events scheduled over this long holiday weekend and I believe there are two reasons for that: A) the whole back to school thing and B) no one wants to compete with Fiesta Hermosa. However, after this weekend, things start to ramp up again and September is jammed with dozens of fantastic events (we’re already talking about Lobster Fest, Style Crawl, South Bay Mavericks and Hot Ballroom Night). Everything is listed on my website and I highly recommend taking a look, planning ahead, and purchasing tickets before they sell out. Summer may be waning but autumn in the South Bay has pleasures all its own…..
