Students Chosen For Beach Cities Health District’s Youth Council
The students, in grades 8-12, from Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo Beach will work to tackle student mental health and substance abuse.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Nearly 50 students were appointed to the Beach Cities Health District’s (BCHD) Youth Advisory Council Tuesday night and held their first meeting to tackle student mental health and substance abuse, BCHD said.
The students are from grades 8 through 12, and are from Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo Beach schools. Throughout the school year, the council will meet regularly to offer recommendations and develop programming around mental health and substance use issues impacting Beach Cities youth.
