Thoroughly Modern Millie @ RUHS: March 13 - 21, 2015

Redondo Union High School Theater Arts Department is proud to announce their production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Performances will be held on March 13, 14, 19 & 20 at 7 p.m. and March 21 at 2 p.m.

Thoroughly Modern Millie is a high energy, fun-loving musical that follows Millie Dillmount who moves from rural Kansas to modern New York City in 1922 looking to start a new life. Full of lively tap numbers, devious villains, and romantic male leads, you can’t help but fall in love with this show. Audiences of all ages are guaranteed to love it and will find themselves tapping down the aisles after the show!

Tickets are $10 presale from any cast or crew member, or $15 at the door.

A special Silent Auction Fundraiser will be held on March 20 at 6 p.m. before the play, so plan to arrive early for this fun get together where you can bid on items, have light refreshments and meet the actors and actresses during a discussion in the theater.

RUHS Theater Arts has entertained audiences for years. Their most recent shows include The Iliad & The Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less, 12 Angry Jurors, The Ninth Guest, Anything Goes, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Grease, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), The Diviners, Cabaret and most recently, The Tragedy of Macbeth. Cabaret was nominated for a Jerry Hermann award for lighting design, best actor, and best actress.

All shows will take place at the RUHS Auditorium located at 631 Vincent Park in Redondo Beach.
