Fire Sparks In Single-Story Torrance Home
The fire broke out on the first floor and spread into the attic of the home, Torrance Fire officials said.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – A two-alarm fire damaged a single-story home in the 17000 block of Daphne Avenue in Torrance Wednesday, but no one was injured. There was no immediate word on what sparked the fire that broke out on the first floor and spread into the attic of the home, according to Torrance Fire Department Assistant Chief Robert Millea.
No one was home at the time, he said. Twenty-nine firefighters knocked down the flames in about 20 minutes, Millea said.
