Top Calif. Destinations From 2017: Most Visited Places Via Lyft
Lyft, the ride-sharing app, collected data and gave Lyftie Awards to the most visited places of 2017.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – For the third year in a row, ride-sharing app Lyft is celebrating their customer's most visited destinations of 2017 and awarding "Lyftie Awards" to the top spots around the country. They've gathered the favorite coffee shops, cocktail spots, museums, and more. Unsurprisingly, the Golden State had three out of the six most visited spots nationwide, including: most visited restaurant, most visited bar, and most likely place to spot a celebrity.
The most visited restaurant nationwide was Souvla San Francisco. This spot is a San Francisco staple, and features, wraps, salads, frozen Greek yogurt, baklava, and more. Good Times at Davey Wayne's, a Los Angeles-based '70s-themed bar, scored most visited bar nationwide. For those who like getting starstruck (and enjoy sustainably-sourced food), visit Catch LA in West Hollywood for the most likely place to spot a celebrity.
Other spots given a national award include: New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art for most visited museum, Café Du Monde in New Orleans for most visited coffee shop, and Miami's American Social for most visited sports bar. To read more about the Lyftie Awards, click here.
