Where To Get Your American Flags Cleaned Free

Keep your U.S. Stars & Stripes spiffy with free services offered throughout the Southland.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA – Flying "Old Glory" is a tradition for many American households during the patriotic holidays .To keep that flag looking its best and brightest, some area dry cleaners offer to clean it for free.

"ZIPS Dry Cleaners will clean American flags free of charge – every day they’re open," according to company managers.

ZIPS will be closed Wednesday, July 4, but regular hours are Mondays to Fridays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Read more on ZIPS here.

Milt and Edie's Dry Cleaners in the San Fernando Valley also offers free flag-cleaning. Located at 4021 W. Alameda Ave. in Burbank, Milt and Edie's is open 24 hours a day and offers pick-up/drop-off and tailoring services, as well. (818-846-4734)
