Woman Killed When Car Went Off Freeway Into Ditch
The woman, believed in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
TORRANCE, CA - A woman was killed this morning when her vehicle went off the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Torrance and rolled over into a ditch, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported at 3:06 a.m. on the southbound San Diego Freeway near Western Avenue, said CHP Officer Alex Rubio. The woman, believed in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. No other injuries were reported.
The Western Avenue onramp to the southbound 405 Freeway was closed until 7:48 a.m., according to CHP Officer Stephan Brandt.
