10 Redwood City Students Awarded Kiwanis Scholarships
The program offers a total of $14,500 in scholarship funds.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Ten Redwood City high school students have been awarded scholarships from the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club, organizers said Sunday.
The program offers a total of $14,500 in scholarship funds. Students from Sequoia and Woodside high schools are slated to be honored at an annual dinner May 21. Mayor Ian Bain will also be in attendance, Kiwanis officials said.
The Key Club of Sequoia High scholarship went to Angela Khov of Sequoia High School, the Geri Mayers Memorial Community Service Award went to Teresa Najera of Woodside High School, and the Charles and Jean Rigg Scholarship went to Kaitlin Raynor, also of Woodside.

Yamada Family Scholarships went to Clara MacAvoy and Alejandra Sanchez-Castro of Sequoia High School.
Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Achievement Awards went to Luis Espino Cervantes, Maya Gotthard, Jessica Morales, Juan Osorio de Jesus and Laurent Sterns.
