3 Teens Arrested, Suspected of Burglarizing 4 Cars

The trio were searched by police and stolen properties from the victims were recovered.

An alert resident spotted three teens who allegedly burglarized four cars in Menlo Park early Tuesday morning, police said.

Around 3 a.m., the resident reported to police that three people ransacked his car in the 1700 block of Stanford Avenue, police said.

The trio left the area but was later found about a half-mile away at Lemon Street and Santa Cruz Avenue, according to police.

Officers searched each teen and found property owned by the resident in addition to items that are believed to have come from another victim’s home, police said.

Officers also searched one suspect’s car parked several blocks away and recovered a stolen wallet and an iPad from a third vehicle, according to police.

As the officers were investigating the third alleged theft, they found a fourth car in the area had also been ransacked, police said.

A 17-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy and booked into county juvenile hall, according to police.

Santa Rosa residents Bradley Askew, 19, and Sierra Martinez, 18, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, police said.

Askew is also suspected of possessing stolen property, according to police.
