'Aggressive' Coyotes Roaming SMC City: Police

Police are warning people to keep their pets inside.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Police are warning the public about "aggressive" coyotes found recently roaming around Redwood City.

It's unclear exactly when the incident happened, and few details were immediately available. But the coyotes were apparently spotted in the 1000 block of Rockport Avenue and the 900 block of Redwood Shores Parkway, according to the Redwood City Police Department.

Those areas where the coyotes were spotted are located near a dog park and community center.

Police advised people to use caution and bring their pets inside. They added that anyone who sees a coyote should call Animal Control at 650-340-8200.
