SAN MATEO, CA — A 40-year-old man is facing felony charges after prosecutors said he attacked a theatergoer earlier this month and then threatened a group of teenagers with a box cutter when they tried to help.
Guillermo Morales was arrested by the San Mateo Police Department and ordered to stand trial following a preliminary hearing, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors said Morales assaulted a theatergoer before brandishing and swinging a box cutter at several teens who witnessed the attack.
