Authorities Looking for San Carlos Sexual Assault Suspect

The assailant was described as a Hispanic man.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help searching for a suspect who sexually assaulted a San Carlos woman in her home on Sunday.

At around 10:15 p.m., the suspect knocked on the victim’s home on the 200 block of Chestnut Street in San Carlos and was admitted. Once inside, he sexually assaulted her, San Mateo County sheriff’s Det. Salvador Zuno said.

After assault, the suspect walked out the front door. Deputies searched the area but did not find the assailant, Zuno said.

The suspect was described as a man, possibly Hispanic. Authorities are asking the public to be on the look out for any suspicious persons in their neighborhood.
