'Below Average' Temps In Redwood City, Rain Possible Soon: Mother's Day Forecast

REDWOOD CITY, CA – If you're planning for your weekend in the Bay Area, be prepared to bring along a light sweater on any excursions. National Weather Service forecasters say we can expect "cooler than normal" temperatures, along with some breezy onshore winds.

Come next week, there's a chance that it'll rain again.

"While most areas will remain dry through the weekend, there is a slight chance of rain region-wide late Monday into Tuesday as another system approaches from the north," the NWS said Friday. "A warming trend is then expected late in the forecast period as a result of building high pressure."

As for Redwood City in particular, here's what you can expect around town for the next several days:

Sunny, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 14 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 64. West northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
