Board Game Day at the Redwood City Library - Saturday 1 to 4

Event - Join in board game fun as we set out many types of board games for family play Redwood City Downtown Library 1044 Middlefield Rd.

Join in Board Game Fun while helping area shelters!

Did you know that playing board games with your children can make them smarter? According to a recent study, middle school students can make substantial improvements in problem-solving ability – even general IQ – when they are taught general principles of critical thinking offered while playing board games. Playing board games also helps the whole family in forming strategies, recognizing colors, shapes, and words, and learning to work together.

The Redwood City Youth Literacy Council is offering a day of board game fun from 1 to 4:00pm this Saturday, November 22nd at the Redwood City Downtown Library at 1044 Middlefield Rd. in Redwood City. Come join in the fun with games of old and new with refreshments. Bring board and card games you no longer use and we’ll donate them to area shelters to pass on the fun and learning possibilities. FREE to all ages.
