UPDATED: Bomb Squad Searches Woodside High School After Threat
Sheriff's officials say they have determined the threat had no merit.
UPDATE 1 P.M.:
Sheriff’s officials tell Patch that they have determined the bomb threat at Woodside High School on Thursday was non-credible.
“[The bomb squad’ searched the school that the point that they determined that there was no actual threat,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt told Patch by telephone.

The school was cleared at about 11:45 a.m., about 2 and a half hours after the sheriff’s office received word of the threat from school officials. School was already let out for the day.

A bomb squad is searching Woodside High School this morning after authorities received a call of a bomb at the school, a San Mateo County sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
The sheriff’s office received a call from the school at 199 Churchill Ave. at about 9:20 a.m., sheriff’s spokeswoman Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt said.
The bomb squad was still on campus as of 11:30 a.m. to determine if the threat has any merit, Rosenblatt said.
Parents of the school’s students were notified at 10:21 a.m. that the school would be closed the rest of the day.
Rosenblatt did not immediately have any other information about the incident.
