Ragazzi Boys Chorus holds auditions

The Bay Area’s acclaimed Ragazzi Boys Chorus invites boys, ages 7 through 10 who love to sing, to come to low-key, friendly, small group auditions. Boys will participate in singing games and other activities, during which they’ll sing with a Ragazzi teacher. No singing experience is necessary; those interested in participating must schedule an appointment.

Boys accepted into the chorus will discover a fun-filled experience – one that includes summer camp, domestic and international tours, and performances with extraordinary groups, such as the world-renowned Drakensburg Boys Chorus (with whom Ragazzi’s boys had the opportunity to sing on their South Africa tour this summer). Ragazzi boys grow into excellent musicians and extraordinary citizens. Most continue to perform in college and well past – some sing in the alumni ensemble, Ragazzi Continuo.

The Ragazzi Boys Chorus mission is to produce great choral music and help boys become young men of character and distinction. Choristers, aged 7–18, are divided into five choral groups with increasing levels of musical challenge and reward. Boys advance from the training levels to upper-level performing and touring groups.
