Cops: Woodside Man Busted With Pot, Hash Oil and $4K in Cash
The man was arrested during a weekend operation that also yielded more than 100 citations.

San Mateo County deputies issued more than 100 citations this weekend as part of a special motorcycle safety enforcement operation in Redwood City and Woodside.
According to the county Police Chiefs & Sheriff Association, the high number of deadly and injurious motorcycle crashes that occur in these cities in the summer are what motivated the enforcement on Friday and Saturday.

Most of the citations were for speeding, authorities reported.
Deputies report that one man, 22-year-old Kevin Ferrari of Woodside, was arrested during the enforcement with more than 38 ounces of marijuana, more than three ounces of hash oil, and $4,000 in cash.

The enforcement was funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
A similar operation will be conducted next weekend, according to the police chiefs association.
