El Camino Real Corridor Plan: Redwood City Update, Meetings

The latest from the City of Redwood City on the project.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — After preparing technical studies and collaborating with the community through online surveys, community meetings, visiting local businesses and public hearings, the City has completed the initial draft of the El Camino Real Corridor Plan. The proposed Plan is a policy document that includes visions, goals, strategies, and implementation actions for street improvements to make the Corridor more pleasant to walk along and safer to cross, and policies that support small businesses and a range of housing choices along the Corridor.

The Planning Commission will consider and provide comment on the draft Plan on November 7 at 7 p.m., followed by review and consideration by the City Council on December 4. Attend these public meetings or send an email with your feedback to elcaminoplan@redwoodcity.org. For more information visit www.redwoodcity.org/elcaminoplan.
