Elderly Woman Killed In Redwood City Hit-And-Run
There were no witnesses located at the scene, and the suspect and vehicle are unknown and outstanding at this time, police said.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — An elderly woman was killed Saturday evening by a hit-and-run driver, Redwood City police said.
Officers at around 5:50 p.m. responded to a report of a person down in the roadway at 1709 Woodside Road according to police.
Officers arrived on scene and located the elderly, female victim lying unconscious on on her side in the number two lane of eastbound Woodside Road, police said.

Officers immediately began life-saving measures on the unresponsive woman, who was transported by medics to Stanford Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
There were no witnesses located at the scene, and the suspect and vehicle are unknown and outstanding at this time, police said.

Redwood City police did not release the woman’s age.
