The faculty, staff and parents of Roosevelt Elementary are excited to be hosting a Kindergarten Tour and Open House to be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Come to our open house and see for yourself why Roosevelt’s K – 6 Project Based Learning program is such an exciting new addition to the Redwood City School District!
Learn about Project Based Learning and how it can teach your child critical thinking and 21st Century skills. Find out how Project Based Learning is incorporated into Roosevelt’s standards-based Kindergarten program.
Meet principal Patricia Girardi and our Kent Award winning Kindergarten team. You will also have a chance to meet current Roosevelt parents and hear what they have to say about our school.
Explore the upper level Kindergarten classrooms including the enclosed Kindergarten playground.
Tour the rest of the Roosevelt campus. Visit other classrooms and see how the PBL program grows with your child. See the state of the art computer lab offering the award winning JiJi Math program for grades K-5. Tour our school library and hear all about the Accelerated Reader program.
