Scams...and How to Avoid Them!

Sgt. Glen Texiera of the San Mateo Police Department will speak today on scams, identity theft and elder abuse and how residents can avoid becoming a victim.

Texiera has worked with the police force for a decade and specializes in investigating scams, identity theft and elder abuse.

The event is put on by the American Association of University Women.
