Leigh Swansborough, an Australian born, former emergency room nurse, has been an addiction treatment/recovery professional for the last decade. She is the creator of, SISTERSPEAK and a multi-talented human.
Leigh will give an intriguing presentation on, “The Sociology of Addiction.” She invites us to learn how society operates as an addict by describing its characteristics and behaviors.
Now Leigh is going to stir it up in a way that is delightful, while sobering. She will make us laugh, cry and think in new ways as she offers new ideas for the epidemic of addiction in our society. Leigh says, “If we’re not laughing or crying, we’re not really getting after it, are we?”
