Using fruits of the season from Filoli’s Gentlemen’s Orchard, students will practice pastel techniques such as layering to create a range of depth, shadow, light and delicious color. Discover composition strategies to create a vibrant still life. Bring a good set of soft pastels such as Sennelier or Scminke.
