Today's homeowners are remaining in their existing homes longer than in the past and this is increasing the importance of accessibility in home design. Additionally, the "sandwich" generation who has young children and aging parents will need to modify their homes to meet these dual needs. Iris Harrell will share design ideas on how to convert existing homes to healthier, barrier free, energy efficient and lower maintenance ones.
Also, Rebuilding Together Peninsula will host a table to discuss their programs designed for seniors, families and people with disabilities to live more independently.
Attendees will receive a packet of organic carrot seeds
