'Family Friend' Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child
The man is accused of sexually assaulting a child over the span of eight years.
WOODSIDE, CA — A man suspected of sexually assaulting a child over the span of eight years has been arrested in Woodside, the San Mateo Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday.
Alan Frank Russell is accused of being a family friend that repeatedly sexually assaulted a child over 20 years ago.
On Thursday, detectives obtained a $200,000 arrest warrant for Russell for alleged lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. Shortly after the warrant was issued, he was taken into custody without incident, the Sheriff's Office said.
