Fire Closes Intersection In Redwood City
Officials were asking the public to avoid an area in Redwood City while crews worked to assess a smokey fire.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Huge smoke plumes billowed from a building in Redwood City on Sunday that could be seen for miles, according to footage posted to social media.
The fire prompted the closure of the intersection at Whipple Avenue and Veterans Boulevard in both directions. Police were urging the public to avoid the area.
