Redwood City, California- The Queen of the Festival scholarship program announces its eighth year of supporting young women in furthering their higher education.
Five high school seniors will compete for the Queen title and a $10,000 scholarship. The total amount of scholarships awarded is $23,000.

- Samantha Carneiro, graduating Capuchino High School, St.Mary’s College of California
- Florence L. Ortiz, graduating Woodside High School, attending UCSanta Cruz
- Mayte Quiroz , graduating Sequoia High School, attending Sonoma State University
- Isabelle Robles, graduating Woodside High School, attending CSU San Marcos
