New Gallery Launch to Benefit Girls to Women
Artist Martha Branner recently launched the Branner Spangenberg Gallery, located at Project 275 in Redwood City, near the newly relocated University Art store. The inaugural exhibition honors the work of Martha’s friend and sister artist, the late Jan Karlton, as well as gallery artists Peter Foley, Christine Hayman, Michael Pauker, and Hanna Quevedo.
In addition to her long career as a gallerist (Branner owned a gallery on Emerson Street in Palo Alto for years), Martha has always supported charitable causes. As part of the new gallery launch, which takes place on November 14, she created a raffle of artwork to benefit Girls to Women, a non-profit organization serving girls in East Palo Alto www.girlstowomen.org.
