Free weekly "Yoga For Parkinson's" Classes for 2016!

Thanks to a National Parkinson's Foundation grant there are now two free "Yoga For Parkinson's" classes at the Veterans Memorial Sr. Center.

Every Tuesday two free “Yoga For Parkinson’s” classes are offered at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City. Come either from 9:30 -10:30 am (Wellness Building- Game Room) or 11- 12 noon (Senior Center- Goldstar Room). Thanks to a grant from the National Parkinson’s Foundation, the Adaptive Physical Education Program at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center is able to offer these two weekly classes for the entire year 2016. All levels are welcome as the class will be taught sitting, standing, or on a mat on the floor. Give it a try!

The Adaptive Physical Education Program now offers 5 different Parkinson’s exercise classes for all levels of ability. Only the two “Yoga For Parkinson’s” classes are free. For more information about the program please call Adaptive Physical Education at (650) 368-7732.
