Girl, 14, Missing From Redwood City

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Police are turning to the public for possible leads in finding 14-year-old Kayla Espinoza of Redwood City, who was reported missing by her mother on Oct. 5, authorities said.

Kayla Espinoza was last seen Saturday at about 10 p.m. in the 3400 block of Michael Drive after leaving her home. She was alone when she left home, voluntarily, after an argument, the Redwood City Police Department said.

Kayla is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue sweatshirt and she had rolling luggage with her.

Police said the girl has possible connections to the Central Valley, specifically Madera in Madera County, and that they are working with those communities for help in locating Kayla.
