John Brown's Body at San Quentin Prison

Join us for this critically acclaimed film documentary of nine murderers and career felons whose lives were forever changed when they agree to producing a play while serving time in San Quentin. Their experience changed them as they grappled with issues of race and injustice and their own ability to confront the choices and circumstances of their lives. There will be a Q&A after the film led by Director Joe De Francesco and an actor from the film. this event is FREE and open to the public. We will be taking a free-will offering and will split the donations between Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Center and the actor(s) who attend the showing.
