La Honda Man Accused of Trying to Ram Motorhome Through Neighbor's Gate, Home

Sheriff's officials say they've arrested him on vandalism charges.

A 48-year-old man suspected of attempting to ram a motor home into his neighbor’s property was arrested this week, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Geoffrey Goldsberry was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and destruction of vehicle identification numbers, sheriff’s officials said.

Investigators served a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Judson Drive in La Honda around 7:30 a.m., according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

“The search warrant resulted from an investigation where Goldsberry allegedly drove a 24 foot Dodge Sportman Motorhome through his neighbor’s locked gate in a failed attempt to ram the motorhome into the victim’s residence,” the release states.

Goldsberry apparently had an ongoing dispute with his neighbors on property rights and access to adjoining properties, sheriff’s officials said.
