La Honda Residents without Water After Water Main Break
Officials expect the repairs to be complete by Wednesday night

Residents in La Honda will be without water for several hours after a water main broke Wednesday morning, according to the San Mateo County Department of Public Works.
The break of a main that serves the Pope Road and Memory Lane areas is affecting a trailer park, but less than 100 homes overall, director of public works Jim Porter said.

Public works staff planned to shut off the water by 1:30 p.m. and expect to complete repairs by Wednesday night, according to the department.
Public works officials issued a boil water notice at about 1 p.m. and it applies only to County Service Area 7 water system customers in La Honda, public works officials said.
