Living With Alzheimer's: FREE Educational Program
3-part education series for individuals with early stage dementia and their care partners
The Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California & Northern Nevada Chapter will be hosting a free educational program entitled Living With Alzheimer’s. This 3-part series is open to individuals with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, who are in the early stages and are interested in learning more about their diagnosis in an interactive program.
The program focuses on what individuals with the disease need to know, plan, and do as they navigate this chapter of their life. Concurrent class is available at the same time for Care Partners of individuals with early stage Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
Topics covered will include:
1. Understanding Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss
2. Partnering with your doctor
3. Effective communication
4. Daily strategies
5. Coping with changes and more...
