Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Stabbing Co-Worker In Redwood City
Police in Redwood City arrested a man after he was accused of stabbing his co-worker at a restaurant.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — A man was arrested early Saturday after he was accused of stabbing his co-worker at a restaurant in Redwood City on Friday night, officials said.
The victim was at Donato's Restaurant on 1041 Middlefield Road when his co-worker Kenneth Holden, 34, walked into the eatery at 7:39 p.m. and stabbed him before fleeing the scene in a black Honda Accord. A witness followed Holden and was able to take a picture of the suspect's car and license plate, the Redwood City Police Department said in a statement.
The victim, who was not named by police, suffered two non-life-threatening stab wounds to his back and was taken to a local hospital after the incident.

Shortly after the incident, an alert was sent to San Mateo County law enforcement agencies. Holden was located at 1:20 a.m. by officers from the Daly City Police Department.
Holden was arrested, transported and booked at the San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
