Man Gets Stuck Between Dump Truck, Loading Area Near Half Moon Bay

A man was hospitalized after getting stuck between a dump truck and a loading area at the Ox Mountain Sanitary Landfill near Half Moon Bay Monday morning, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The accident was reported at 9:51 a.m. at the landfill at 12310 San Mateo Road, CHP Officer Art Montiel said.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was taken to Stanford Hospital, Montiel said. He did not immediately have information on the man’s condition.

Montiel said he did not know if the man is an employee at the landfill or a citizen.
