Marufuku Ramen Expands To Redwood City

The restaurant will offer indoor dining at limited capacity and outdoor seating. ​

REDWOOD CITY, CA –A popular ramen restaurant has expanded to Redwood City.

Marufuku Ramen opened a new restaurant at 865 Middlefield Rd. on Tuesday.

“Redwood City, we are READY FOR YOU!,” the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.

Marufuku's Redwood City location is its third in the Bay Area. The others are in San Francisco and Oakland.

Marufuku also has a restaurant in Frisco, Texas. It plans to open in Irvine, according to its website.

The Redwood City location will offer indoor dining at limited capacity and outdoor seating.

Among Marufuku’s specialties is its authentic Hakata-style Tonkotsu ramen—featuring a rich and milky, premium Tonkotsu broth cooked for over 20 hours to extract umami flavor, an ultra-thin artisanal noodles that match perfect with the broth, and Cha-shu made from specially selected pork.

Rich white chicken paitan ramen with chicken Cha-shu is also featured on the menu along with variety of mini-sized rice bowls, izakaya-style appetizers, and premium beer and sake.
