NDNU Named Among the Best Regional Universities by US News & World Report

University was ranked 51st.

The following was submitted for publication on behalf of Notre Dame de Namur University:

Notre Dame de Namur University was again named to the US News & World Report list of the best regional universities in the west. The list published Tuesday by US News provided rankings for 84 of 150 regional universities. NDNU was ranked 51st.

“NDNU is delighted to again be named to the US News list of top regional universities,” said NDNU President Judith Maxwell Greig. “But I should note that rankings like this cannot begin to provide all the information families need to make a decision about college because they consistently fail to capture many of the most valuable attributes of some institutions. NDNU for example, has extensive programs to help first generation and underrepresented students adapt to college and a long tradition of community engagement through both coursework and co-curricular activities. None of that is captured in the data US News and other rankings collect.”
