New Exhibit Opening: Who Speaks for the Land?

New Exhibit Opening at the San Mateo County History Museum on June 29

The San Mateo County History Museum will open a photo exhibit on June 29, 2016 entitled Who Speaks for the Land? Robert Buelteman’s Peninsula. The show will represent the photographer’s favorite 19 black and white works of environmental scenes of San Mateo County from projects he has completed for five organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life on the San Francisco Peninsula. They are Peninsula Open Space Trust, Sempervirens Fund, Djerassi Residents Artists Program, San Mateo County Parks Foundation and Stanford University’s Jaspar Ridge Biological Preserve.

The San Mateo County History Museum is located at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City and is open every day except Monday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, free for kids five and under. For more information go to www.historysmc.org or call 650-299-0104.
