Overturned Big Rig Blocks Highway Lanes In SMC: Police
An 18-wheeler was involved in a crash with a sedan, police said.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — An overturned big rig collided with a sedan Sunday in Redwood City, causing the big rig to flip over and to block nearly all northbound lanes of highway 101, police said.
At around 11 a.m. on Sunday, California Highway Patrol officers said they responded to the area of Highway 101 at Marsh Road near Redwood City.
CHP said the truck had blocked all lanes but one and an hour after responding they opened a second lane up.

Both the driver of the big rig and the driver of the sedan involved in the crash were hospitalized with minor injuries, CHP said.
At around 7 p.m. on Sunday, all lanes except one were open, police said.
