A recent posting onΒ NextDoor.comΒ is urging parents in theΒ Belmont-Redwood School DistrictΒ to attend the Thursday night board of trustees meeting in a show of support for Ralston Middle School principal,Β whose contract was not renewed.

"ThereΒ was unprecedented supportΒ to keep Mr. Carson as principal at Ralston for at least (1) more year by parents and teachers at the March 21st School Board meeting. A decision still has not been made, and We Can’t Stop Now! The Board needs to keep hearing from us until we get a resolution," says the posting.

"There is power in numbers and we need to have a strong presence. Everyone is welcome to speak and when parents speak in support of Principal Carson, we’d like all parents to stand as a show of solidarity. PleaseΒ wear blackΒ as part of that solidarity."
